Getting invoices into QuickBooks, Xero and Sheets without re-keying

The slow part of document work is rarely reading the invoice. It is typing the same figures a second time — into the ledger, the sheet, the system everyone downstream actually reads. Docusift was built to remove that second step, not just the first.

The second keystroke

An invoice arrives, someone reads it, and then someone types it again somewhere else. The reading is fast; the re-keying is where the hours go — line by line, into accounting software that was never going to open the PDF on its own.

That second keystroke is also where the mistakes live. A transposed figure, a wrong date, a vendor name entered three subtly different ways across a quarter — none of it is carelessness, it is just what happens when a person copies numbers between two screens for the hundredth time that month.

Four places the result can land

Docusift reads the document, extracts the fields, and pushes the structured result to where the work already happens — QuickBooks Online, Xero, Google Sheets, or a custom webhook if your stack is your own. You pick the destination; the numbers move there without the manual hop in between.

Which destination is right is a decision that belongs to you, not to us. Like everything at Ekarche, that choice reads from a per-customer configuration rather than a setting we control, so a team on Xero and a team wiring their own webhook get the same extraction landing in two different places.

Not an integration project

This is deliberately not a migration. You do not rebuild your books around Docusift; Docusift feeds the books you already keep. The document goes in one side, and clean rows arrive in the tool your finance team opened this morning — with a confidence score on each field so anything uncertain routes to review rather than landing unchecked.

Docusift is live today and accepting sign-ups, and the documents you send stay yours: processed, returned, never resold. If you want the shape of the underlying work, read document and data extraction.

Questions

People also ask

Which systems can Docusift send extracted data to?

QuickBooks Online, Xero, Google Sheets, or a custom webhook — so the structured result lands wherever a finance team already works, with no re-keying in between.

Do I still need to check the numbers before they post?

Every field carries a confidence score, so low-confidence values route to review before they land. You stay in control of what posts; Docusift removes the retyping, not the judgement.
