What this policy covers

This privacy policy applies to ekarche.com only. Our products — Memoria, DocuSift, and any future Ekarche product — are separate services with their own privacy policies. Visit those products directly for their data practices.

What we collect on this site

The brand site is intentionally minimal. The only data that exists about your visit is:

• Server access logs. Our content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront) records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent, and referrer — to keep the site running and to detect abuse. These logs are retained on a short rotating window for diagnostics and security and are not used to build a profile of you.
• A theme preference. When you switch between light and dark mode, we save that choice in your browser's local storage under the key ekarche-theme. It never leaves your browser, and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
• Anything you write to us. If you email hello@ekarche.com, we read it and reply. We keep that correspondence as long as it is useful and no longer.

What we do not do

• We do not run analytics on this site.
• We do not set cookies.
• We do not embed third-party trackers, pixels, or advertising tags.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for marketing.
• We do not build profiles of visitors.

Third parties on this page

The site loads two web fonts (Fraunces and Inter) from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those fonts it makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which gives Google the same standard request data your network already exposes (IP and user-agent). Google's font usage is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not embed any other third-party services on this page.

Where your data is stored

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) with edge locations distributed globally. Server logs may be processed and stored in the United States. By using the site you consent to this transfer.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the GDPR (European Economic Area), and similar laws in other jurisdictions, you have the right to ask us what we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing. Because the brand site does not store identified personal data, in practice these rights mostly apply to any email correspondence you have sent us. Send any request to hello@ekarche.com and we will respond within thirty days.

Children

The Ekarche brand site is not directed at children under thirteen and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has contacted us, write to hello@ekarche.com and we will delete the records.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we handle it, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least thirty days.
